Sharon Stone Becomes a villain in the DC movie “Blue Beetle”!

Sharon Stone, best known for her roles in “Basic Instinct” and “Casino,” will play the villain in the upcoming DC film “Blue Beetle.”

This is the first DC film to feature a Latin superhero as the protagonist. It is the third generation Blue Beetle that appears in DC Comics, and it is said to portray the main character, teenager Jaime Reyes.

Xolo Mariduea from “Cobra Kai” plays the lead. Angel Manuel Soto will direct it, and Gareth Dunnet Alco Sale will write it.

Sharon plays Victoria Code, a new character created for the film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. According to Deadline, she is the wife of Ted Kord, a second generation Blue Beetle. She also appeared in Sharon’s 2004 release of Halle Berry’s Catwoman, which was not the first DC film.

Raoul Trujillo and others from “Mayans MC-Sands of Anarchy Gaiden-” will appear alongside Shoro and Sharon. The film is set to be released in theaters nationwide on August 18, 2023.
